Settling In Policy
The Nursery Staff will work in partnership with parents/carers to settle the child into the nursery environment. Once the Nursery accepts a child, a key person will be assigned to your child. There will be nursery visits arranged shortly after acceptance so that parents and child can familiarise themselves with the Nursery and staff. For the first few sessions, parents/carers may collect their child early if they so wish. Please feel free to telephone anytime during the day for any information or simply a re-assuring chat.
Prospectus
Children in our care are encouraged to value themselves and others. Treetops is a happy nursery and we pride ourselves on our unique family atmosphere, even so, as in many families, occasional problems do occur which need a firm handling. We have a positive approach to discipline and the support of parents is expected and appreciated.
A close partnership with parents/carers is encouraged and valued.
Any ideas or suggestions are ALWAYS welcome. If you wish a more formal progress report, an appointment can be made for you to speak to the child's carer or Officer in charge, and a private room can be made available.
You will notice that in our foyer we have a comments and suggestion box, please feel free to enter any suggestions or ideas you may have.
